Are you getting tired of being tired?
Tossing and turning every night, only to wake up still exhausted?
Dreading waking up in the mornings?
Oversleeping and still feeling like you barely slept a wink?
You’re not alone – insomnia is the most prevalent sleep disorder in the US.
It affects 15-33% of the population with even higher prevalence rates in the elderly and clinical populations. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, or CBT-I, improves sleep in 70-80% of patients, is more effective than sleeping pills and reduces or eliminates sleeping pills in the vast majority of patients, and doubles the improvement rates of depression compared to antidepressant medication alone in depressed patients with insomnia. It also improves other co-morbidities including pain and fibromyalgia, substance abuse, and PTSD.
This group will teach you ways of making sure your nightly battle with insomnia is put to rest! You’ll fall and stay asleep with more ease, waking up feeling refreshed and ready to face your day.
